Across 30,000 square metres of exhibition space, 650 exhibitors will showcase more than 1,100 brands from 22 countries, with around 50,000 visitors expected to attend. One of the key developments this year is a clearer division of the fair into two main thematic areas – MOS World of Living and MOS World of Business Opportunities. Celjski sejem promises five days of diverse exhibition and professional events, new ideas, practical solutions, and opportunities for both business and personal connections.

This year’s MOS carries the subtitle International Fair of Opportunities and Cooperation, reflecting its central focus on connecting people and creating new opportunities. MOS remains a place where companies seek new business partners and markets, while visitors can compare products and services, obtain information, and find solutions for their homes, businesses and quality of life.

“MOS reflects current developments in the economy and continues to evolve alongside them. Its value lies not only in the number of exhibitors and visitors, but above all in the connections established at the fair, the information people gain, and the business and personal decisions they can make through direct contact with providers,” says Renata Košenina, Director of the Celjski sejem Business Unit.

Two thematic worlds for different visitor needs

MOS 2026 will be divided into two main thematic areas: MOS World of Living and MOS World of Business Opportunities. This division reflects the needs of the two key visitor groups – the general public and business professionals – while providing a clearer overview of exhibitors and making it easier to plan a visit.

MOS Living will showcase solutions in construction, renovation, energy efficiency, smart homes, windows and doors, interior design, outdoor landscaping, heating, cooling and ventilation. Tourism destinations, active holiday opportunities, and local food and beverage offerings will also form an important part of the exhibition.

The focus will be on comprehensive solutions that help users reduce energy consumption and living costs. Visitors will be able to compare different options, test products, and discuss their projects directly with providers and independent experts.

MOS Business Opportunities will bring together entrepreneurship, crafts, industry, innovation and digitalisation. Schools will thus benefit from an organised, targeted and time-efficient visit, while young people will have an opportunity to discover companies, potential future employers and fields that may influence their further education and career choices.

The business programme will also include the 2nd Professional Symposium Public Procurement with Vision, the 7th City Conference Alliance for Celje, the Women Entrepreneurs Forum, an event on cybersecurity for small and medium-sized enterprises, a discussion on the competitiveness of Slovenian tourism, and professional meetings on the energy renovation of multi-apartment buildings and the European development framework beyond 2027.

Professor Balthazar at MOS for the first time

A special new attraction for the youngest visitors will be Baltazargrad, a festival attraction from Croatia designed for children aged four to eleven. The entire user journey – from online ticket purchases, registration and invitations to accreditation, ticket validation and access management – is now digital. This represents an important step in the digitalisation of Celjski sejem’s operations and in improving the user experience for everyone attending its events. A limited-time 2-for-1 offer is also currently available online, allowing visitors to receive two tickets for the price of one.

Celjski sejem has also redesigned its website. It is now more modern, easier to navigate and better adapted to the needs of visitors and exhibitors, providing faster access to information about fairs, programmes, tickets, exhibition spaces and participation opportunities.

The MOS Awards 2026 have also been upgraded to recognise outstanding products, services, solutions, projects and exhibitor presentations.
