Events at the Celje Showground
The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Slovenia has issued Order no. 470, prohibiting all indoor public events in the Republic of Slovenia. Consequently, Celjski sejem d.d. has been forced to postpone the coming spring fairs that were planned to take place between 13 and 15 March and the professional fair triplet and congress Energetika Interklima, Terotech and Lestech, planned to take place between 31 March and 3 April.
In view of the current situation we have decided to carry out four spring fairs – Altermed, Flora, Poroka and Kulinart – between 15 and 17 May 2020. Despite our efforts to find suitable new dates for all the fairs, we regret to inform you that, due to the beginning of the fishing and beekeeping season, the fairs ApiSlovenia and Fishing will not take place this year. This decision was made because beekeepers and fishermen purchase their equipment and other accessories before the beginning of the season.
We would also like to announce that Coffee Festival Slovenia will take place at this year’s 53rd MOS (16 – 20 September 2020). The biggest problem is the crisis in Italy, preventing supply to Slovenian distributers. The majority of exhibitors at the Coffee Festival Slovenia depend on the supply from Italian manufacturers.
The fairs Altermed, Flora, Poroka and the Kulinart festival will take place between 15 and 17 May 2020.
The visitors who have already bought their ticket to the spring fairs in our online ticket shop can use their existing tickets between 15 and 17 May 2020.
We are facing similar issues with the Energetika Interklima, Terotech and Lestech fairs and congress, which we were also forced to postpone.
The new dates are 20 to 23 October 2020. After discussing the dates with our exhibitors we realised that the majority of them seem to find this timeframe more suitable than June. What is more, there is no guarantee that organisation of major events will be possible in June.
Thank you for your understanding,
Celjski sejem d. d.
