Celje, 16 April 2025 – Last weekend, two fairs full of excellence that attracted global industrial innovations and technologies to the Celje Fair were more than successfully carried out. The International Industry Fair and the Public Utility Equipment, Waste Management and Water Technologies Fair (KOMOT) exceeded all expectations and once again proved that Celje is the leading regional hub of industrial and utility solutions in SE part of Europe.
In four days, the fairs were visited by about 17,000 visitors from 24 countries, with 370 exhibitors from 11 countries exhibiting their innovations and solutions. These represented more than 1,000 brands from 36 countries, distributed in 9 fair halls and in the outdoor areas, with a grand total of 25,000 m² of exhibition space.
This year, 20 percent more foreign exhibitors appeared at the event than in 2023, confirming the growing international importance of the International Industry Fair and the KOMOT Fair. It is also telling that as many as 89 percent of exhibitors from the previous iterations returned this year, which shows high satisfaction with the organization and quality of visitors. 45 percent of exhibitors are manufacturers, which is reflected in the rich offer of practical, technologically advanced solutions.
The four fair days were marked by a dynamic professional program that covered key areas of modern industry. The first day was dedicated to the automation and optimization of production processes, the second day to welding technicians with a national and international welding competition, the third day highlighted the challenges and opportunities in toolmaking and maintenance – on this day, fair awards were given for the most sustainable, economically efficient and technologically advanced solutions. The last day was marked by the plastics industry.
The exceptional participation and excellent responses of exhibitors and visitors predict even stronger fairs in the future. Many companies have already confirmed their interest in cooperation next time.
