MOS 2025 with a Record Number of Innovations

“I’m just going to take a look”

57th MOS, 17–21 September 2025 at the Celje Fairgrounds

From 17 to 21 September 2025, the Celje Fair will once again become the center of business and trade fair activities. We will once again gather at a fair with exceptional tradition, as this will be the 57th MOS – the largest business and trade fair event in the region, which attracts around 65,000 visitors every year. For decades, the event has been synonymous with networking, new knowledge, and business opportunities, while also offering a vibrant program for the wider public with affordable shopping and engaging side activities.

WHEN? 17–21 September 2025
WHERE? Celje Fair
WHAT? 57th MOS

We have been with you for well over half a century, and if anyone knows, we do: it is time to look ahead, to provide answers to the challenges of our time. The 57th MOS redefines sustainability, which is long past being a mere trend – it is a mindset, a way of working, and a way of connecting. And that is precisely what we do at MOS. That is why sustainability has been placed at the heart of this year’s MOS. We invite you to join us at the region’s largest business and trade fair event, where this year we will unite innovation, entrepreneurship, and solutions for all your challenges under the common denominator: the green transition. MOS 2025 will take you on a journey of conscious choice, long-term responsibility, and the transition toward a more sustainable future.

Sustainability woven through all three main segments of the fair:

MOS DOM

In the MOS DOM segment, exhibitors will present visitors with eco-friendly materials and solutions for construction and renovation. Among other things, you will discover new approaches, as builders increasingly choose sustainable materials with a low carbon footprint. In addition, the rich exhibition selection will include heating, ventilation, photovoltaics, electric charging stations, building joinery, and many other solutions.

MOS TOURISM & GASTRONOMY

This segment promotes local and seasonal cuisine as well as sustainable and green tourism. Boutique experiences will also be in the spotlight: local food and wine providers, tourist farms, wellness providers, destinations, and catering equipment. For the first time, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food will comprehensively present organic food, raise awareness of it, and feature an organic market.

MOS B2B

All business solutions in one place – from innovations, digital solutions, circular economy, and green technologies to entrepreneurship that changes the world. We will showcase industrial technologies, logistics, metrology, digitalization, ICT, and automation, while state and economic institutions will also be present.

Of course, this year’s MOS will again include the ever-popular MOS PLUS, which has been delighting visitors for more than half a century with affordable fair shopping and products and services for leisure, a healthy lifestyle, and e-mobility: from natural cosmetics and sports equipment to wellness services, electric bikes, and innovative solutions.

During the five-day fair event, 650 exhibitors will present as many as 1,100 brands from more than 20 countries. Among them will be a strong representation of domestic companies offering solutions in the field of green transformation and digitalization. Visitors will once again enjoy numerous program novelties, and accompanying events will also bring much new content.

This year’s promotional ambassador of MOS: comedian Perica Jerković

Who doesn’t know the phrase “I’m just going to take a look” – and then returning from the fair with arms full of small and large purchases. Visiting a fair requires good preparation. You don’t want to miss the important things (read: discounts, good deals, interesting presentations of innovative products, and educational workshops). And since this journey comes with various trials, we decided to play with the more obvious ones and present them in a fun promotional campaign with comedian Perica Jerković.

The red thread of promotion at the 57th MOS is uncovering fair truths. On this year’s jumbo billboards you will see slogans such as:

  • “I’m just going to take a look!” … But I end up leaving with a lawnmower, a bed, doors, and a potato peeler.

  • “I can find everything in the halls! Well, after I get lost at least 3 times first.” … Where you’ll need a map, a friend, and one day off.

  • “I’m going for construction, my partner for kitchen accessories.” … Where couples lose and find each other – and in the end buy a heat pump.

To ensure that visitors to the 57th MOS enjoy themselves stress-free, with the most useful stops and, of course, the best shopping, here are some condensed tips for every MOS visitor.

What awaits you at MOS?

  • Fair-only deals you won’t get anywhere else.

  • New technologies and innovations you can try first-hand.

  • Educational workshops and lectures to gain new knowledge.

  • And, of course – that special fair buzz you simply must experience.

Prepare your comfortable shoes, empty your car trunk, and see you in Celje between 17 and 21 September.

Events Worth Your Attention!

This year’s MOS is exceptionally rich in side activities, events, and workshops. Entrepreneurs have a unique opportunity at MOS for five days of training, lectures, networking, and finding new business opportunities.

Thursday, 18 September 2025

The day will be marked by the conference Building the Future of Living with Sustainable Construction, which will bring together top experts in sustainable construction, wood, and healthy living environments. They will present the use of sustainability indicators, the importance of life cycle analysis, and the role of green public procurement in accelerating sustainable projects. A special focus will be on wooden construction, which connects tradition and modern technology to create safe, comfortable, and healthy living environments. The conference is an opportunity for architects, builders, investors, and everyone interested in the sustainable future of living.

In addition to sustainability, great emphasis will be placed on digitalization and international networking. In particular, the highly important international business meeting B2B Connect2Slovenia will be highlighted, offering exhibitors an excellent opportunity to present their products and services to selected foreign companies and expand their business partner network in the Alpe Adria region. The event will take place on Thursday, 18 September, and will bring together companies from:

  • smart industry

  • automotive and metal industry

  • electronics

  • transport and logistics, and other sectors.

These are targeted B2B talks for new business opportunities. Foreign companies coming to the meeting are actively seeking new partnerships. Without a doubt, an event worth attention! And a street worth visiting? The Street of Crafts will surprise you with workshops for young people and diverse content.

Friday, 19 September 2025

The focus will be on current issues of fire safety in electric vehicles and devices. The professional seminar When Electricity Catches Fire will present the specifics of e-fires, while visitors will be able to try fire extinguishing simulators and watch practical demonstrations of battery ignition in e-scooters, smartphones, and laptops. Visitors will also meet electric car exhibitors and explore assisted driving up close.

We are also very excited to host a special hackathon named Woodyton. This is the first woodworking hackathon, organized by the Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia as part of the LifeLongWood Interreg SI-AT 2021–2027 project. Across two one-day events on Thursday and Friday, young people aged 12–15 (7th, 8th, and 9th grade students) will use creative thinking in teams to find solutions to wood and environmental challenges. Working alongside peers, mentors, and entrepreneurs from Slovenia and Austria, they will learn entrepreneurial thinking, discover modern professions in woodworking and forestry, and develop creativity and teamwork skills.

Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia and Partners

The Chamber of Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS) will present its sections, regional chambers, and partners. They will showcase the digital Mozaik podjetnih card, the Street of Crafts with demonstrations of 14 craft professions, and at the international business meeting Connect2Slovenia, 100 entrepreneurs from Austria, Croatia, Italy, Germany, and Slovenia will be seeking new business opportunities.

The renewed Mozaik podjetnih digital card will now be available in a mobile app, replacing the plastic card. This digital solution will allow members quick access to all benefits and promotions, information about nearby offers, and easy access to special discounts – exclusive benefits always available to OZS members. Users will also receive up-to-date notifications about news and special offers. Mozaik partners such as Zavarovalnica Triglav, Shell, Relax Turizem, Delavska Hranilnica, Bags&more, Office&more, and Energija Plus will present concrete discounts exclusively available to OZS members.

Together with the National Institute for Vocational Education and secondary schools, OZS will once again organize the Street of Crafts at MOS. Attractive and in-demand crafts will be presented, with demonstrations of home and artistic crafts. Primary and secondary students will be encouraged to try practical tasks and professional skills. The central point will be the Apprenticeship Office, where visitors can get all information about apprenticeships and vocational education. Professions represented will include cook, waiter, baker, confectioner, metal designer–toolmaker, mechanical technician, electronics technician, mechatronics technician, carpenter, drywaller, roofer, floor installer, driver, and artisans.

The DUO section will organize the exhibition Hand & Form, presenting contemporary craft products based on traditional techniques with modern design. The exhibition will highlight collaboration between artisans and designers. Its educational purpose is to raise awareness among artisans, designers, and the public about possibilities for modern development of traditional crafts. In Hall C, craft stalls will also be available.

The exhibition Sharewood will present sustainable use of wood in modern architecture and design. Its special feature is a wood library, where especially young visitors can learn about different types of wood, their properties, and advantages in eco-friendly construction.

Regional craft chambers will also be present, including OOZ Krško, OOZ Ormož, and chambers from the Primorsko-Notranjska region.

Free entry tickets for OZS members – Members can once again visit the fair free of charge on the opening day by collecting tickets from their local chambers.

Support for the future of craft and entrepreneurship – At OZS’s exhibition space, two key projects for SMEs will be presented: Enterprise Europe Network Slovenia (helping companies with internationalization, technology transfer, and digital/green transformation) and the Slovenian Circular Economy Center (supporting SMEs with circular business models, waste reduction, and resource efficiency).
