Official Statement Following the Press Conference – International Industry Fair and KOMOT Fair 2025

Among the exhibitors are the world’s largest names from the industry, coming from Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, USA, Canada, Germany and other countries

Celje, 27 March 2025 – Between 8 and 11 April 2025, the Celje Fairgrounds will host the International Industry Fair (IIF) and the Public Utility Equipment, Waste Management and Water Technologies Fair (KOMOT), two of the most important professional fairs in SE Europe. The Celje Fairgrounds will be transformed into the largest technological center in Slovenia, where visitors will be able to witness the most modern and technically sophisticated machines, industrial robots, tools, applications and solutions for the future in person. More than 370 exhibitors will present themselves on more than 25,000 m² of exhibition space, presenting 1,000 brands from as many as 36 countries. For both fairs, we had to additionally set up 3 prefabricated halls, so now the exhibitors will present themselves in as many as 9 fair halls, and one prefabricated hall is intended for the welding competition. With this fair event, we at the company Celjski sejem are putting Slovenia on the global map of advanced industrial innovations.

International Industry Fair  – the leading industrial event in SE Europe

The International Industry Fair (IIF) is the leading industrial event in SE Europe, presenting the most important companies and experts from the industrial sector. The fair is the central platform for presenting the latest technological developments, innovations and solutions that shape the future of the industry and covers key industrial segments, including: toolmaking and machine building, welding and cutting, industrial automation and robotics, electronics and industrial maintenance, and polymer and plastics industries.

This year, the fair records the largest number of new exhibitors who have not yet presented themselves in Celje or Slovenia. In addition to companies from Slovenia and Croatia, exhibitors from Serbia, Austria, Germany, Italy, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Poland and other countries are also present. In particular, the record participation of Croatian companies stands out, which confirms the growing importance of the fair in the Adria region.

Innovations that push the boundaries of the industry – Fair innovations and candidates for awards

The fairs, especially the International Industry Fair, therefore brings top technological solutions that shape the future of production and industrial development. The best innovations, according to the expert committee, will receive awards, namely at the Evening of exhibitors, on April 10, 2025, when we will also give out fair awards.

High-pressure valves, advanced welding systems, state-of-the-art microscopes and smart manipulators stand out among the innovations that will compete for prestigious trade fair awards.

🔹 HYDROGEN VALVE UP TO 1000 BAR – A revolutionary solution for the safe and efficient management of hydrogen in industrial systems with extreme pressures. Key technology for the future of hydrogen mobility and energy.

🔹 Snowguard production line – An automated production system that enables the precise, fast and efficient production of snowguards for safer roof constructions.

🔹 Technical illustrations for patent protection, industrial design and user manuals – Visual solutions that enable precise protection of intellectual property and facilitate communication between engineers, manufacturers and users.

🔹 SuPar AR tool for visual inspection – Advanced tool solution that enables accurate visual inspection of products and components in real time using augmented reality (AR).

🔹 Jumbo flex 50 Redesign – One-hand vacuum manipulator – Ergonomically and technologically improved version of vacuum manipulator for easy and safe movement of heavy loads with one hand.

🔹 ARXIS P503L welding machine with welding process control WELDUNIVERZE – An intelligent welding system that combines advanced control and welding analytics for maximum production quality and efficiency.

🔹 Digital 3D stereo microscope SCALEREO – Innovative microscopy technology that enables extremely accurate analysis of industrial components with spatial 3D display.

🔹 Automatic load leveling manipulation system – A smart solution for industrial lifting and load balancing, which reduces the physical loads of workers and increases safety at work.

Each of these innovations is the result of many years of development and industrial needs, so the fair will be an opportunity for visitors to get acquainted with the latest technological trends first hand.

KOMOT Fair – the future of utility and sustainable solutions

After a successful premiere, this year the KOMOT fair, the only specialized B2B event in Slovenia in the field of utility equipment, waste management, drinking water supply and sustainable solutions, is returning. This year, it will include 2 prefabricated halls and outdoor exhibition spaces, where 40 direct exhibitors will present themselves. The fair is co-organized with the Chamber of Municipal Economy of Slovenia and covers areas such as: waste management, recycling and sustainable practices, technologies for drinking water supply and wastewater treatment, advanced digital solutions for the municipal economy, winter service, maintenance and public infrastructure.

Every day with a special professional focus

Each fair day will be dedicated to a specific thematic program and will be enriched by numerous professional lectures and trainings with renowned speakers:

  • Wednesday, 9 April 2025: Welding Technique Day  – in addition to professional lectures, the National Welding Championship will also be held, where competitors from Slovenia and abroad will compete in MAG, TIG and for the first time in REO (manual arc welding) techniques. A record number of schools or students are registered. The Welding Technique Day is organized by DVT Krško in cooperation with the Celje Fair, DVT MB, FS LJ, FS MB and FINI from Novo mesto.
  • Thursday, 10 April 2025: Toolmaking Day – the program includes presentations of the latest technologies and trends in toolmaking. It is organized by TECOS.
  • Thursday, 10 April 2025: Maintenance Day – a premiere, organized by the Association of Maintenance Workers of Slovenia.
