The New FIT & WELL Fair Impresses with Active Content

Celje, 16 March 2026 – This year’s March Fairs at the Celje Fairground have come to a close, once again confirming their role as one of the most diverse spring events in Slovenia. As in previous years, the March Fairs brought together several thematically connected events – Hunting Days, Sport Shooting Days, APIS Slovenia | Europe, Flora & Garden, and the new FIT & WELL fair, which complemented the traditional programme for the first time this year. Over the three days, the fairgrounds welcomed more than 20,000 visitors – an increase compared to last year – and hosted around 400 exhibitors from 14 countries.

The main novelty of this year’s fairs, FIT & WELL, attracted significant attention from visitors. Dedicated to a healthy and active lifestyle, the fair offered a wide range of guided workouts, expert lectures, practical demonstrations, and presentations of various approaches to improving physical and mental well-being. Particularly encouraging was the strong engagement of visitors, many of whom actively participated in the activities.

“We are very pleased that the new FIT & WELL fair came to life with such great energy and an excellent response from visitors. I must admit we were positively surprised by how eager people were to join guided workouts and other activities. This confirms that content related to movement, health, and well-being is highly relevant and appealing to a wide audience today,” said Nina Ermenc Pangerl, President of the Management Board of Celje Fair, at the closing of the event.

Alongside the new fair, the Days of Hunt once again drew considerable interest, with visitors enjoying demonstrations of hunting cynology and falconry, the traditional venison goulash cooking competition, and the national deer-calling championship. The Days of Sport Shooting also attracted strong attention, showcasing various shooting disciplines, equipment, and expert presentations, while visitors could also learn more about the safe use and storage of firearms. An important professional segment of the programme was APIS Slovenia | Europe, one of the largest beekeeping events in Europe, which once again brought together experts, beekeepers, and equipment manufacturers. The Flora & Garden fair also drew many visitors, offering inspiration for gardening, landscaping gardens, terraces, and balconies, as well as insights into self-sufficiency and sustainable gardening practices.

This year’s March Fairs also featured a rich accompanying programme of expert lectures, workshops, and presentations for all generations, reaffirming their role as an important meeting point for networking, knowledge exchange, and everyday inspiration.

Following the successful conclusion of this year’s event, the organiser Celje Fair has already announced the next edition – the March Fairs will return to Celje in March 2027.
