CONTENT OF MARCH FAIRS
The March Fairs of Celjski sejem are not just events – they are an experience.
They bring together four thematically diverse fairs, forming the largest spring fair event in Slovenia: Fit & Well, Days of Hunt, Days of Sport Shooting, and APIS Slovenia | Europe.
In 2026, we hosted approximately 400 exhibitors from 14 countries and welcomed more than 20,000 visitors. The fairs also featured a rich accompanying program with over 100 events, including guided workouts, expert lectures, and diverse activities for children, where collaboration with eco-schools also plays an important role.
At a time when health, well-being, and sustainable living have become global priorities, FIT&WELL 2026 is emerging — a content-rich evolution of the well-established Altermed brand, designed as a response to current market needs and today’s way of life.
With its new concept and clear focus, FIT&WELL 2026 addresses the needs of the modern individual — holistically, professionally, and inspiringly. The EcoSchool program has, for many years, connected knowledge, experience, and best practices to promote a healthy lifestyle and a responsible attitude toward our bodies and the environment. We believe that health is one of our greatest values – which is why we nurture it through carefully selected, local, and balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and respectful, connecting interpersonal relationships.
At the stands, participants will explore together how “LOCAL, HEALTHY, SUSTAINABLE – FOOD THAT CONNECTS” can become part of our everyday lives.
The Days of Hunt Fair is a specialized event dedicated to hunting, nature conservation, and maintaining ecological balance. Organized in collaboration with the Hunting Association of Slovenia, the event brings together hunters, naturalists, manufacturers of hunting equipment, and nature enthusiasts interested in modern approaches and the tradition of hunting. The fair attracts numerous domestic and international exhibitors who showcase the latest hunting equipment, technologies, hunting culture, and diverse educational content. The accompanying programme includes expert lectures, a deer-calling competition, performances by hunting choirs and horn players, and a wild game stew cooking contest, creating an authentic hunting atmosphere. Previous editions have demonstrated the fair’s role as an excellent meeting point for establishing long-term business partnerships and building a network of loyal customers.
The Days of Sport Shooting Fair is the only event of its kind in Slovenia, catering to enthusiasts and professionals in the field of sport shooting. In collaboration with the Shooting Association of Slovenia, the Slovenian Association for Practical Shooting, and the Archers Association of Slovenia, the event showcases a wide range of shooting equipment, from firearms and accessories to protective gear and the latest technological solutions. The accompanying programme features demonstrations of shooting techniques and presentations by shooting clubs and associations. The fair provides an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, discovering innovations, and strengthening connections within the sport shooting community.
This fair, with over 45 years of tradition, brings together Slovenian and international experts and enthusiasts in the field of beekeeping. In collaboration with the Slovenian Beekeepers’ Association, the event offers a rich exhibition and educational programme, showcasing the latest equipment, technologies, and innovations for bee conservation and sustainable production. The motto “Si sapis, sis apis” – “If you are wise, be like the bee” – reflects the mission of the event: spreading knowledge, fostering collaboration, and raising awareness of the vital role bees play in our environment.
The Slovenian Beekeepers’ Association organizes captivating lectures featuring experts, scientific committee members, and renowned speakers who discuss promising topics in beekeeping, such as the quality and safety of bee products and bee health management. Exhibitors have the opportunity to present their products and services to the broader beekeeping community, establish business connections, and contribute to the sustainable development of the sector. The fair combines tradition, innovation, and the wisdom symbolized by bees through the ages.
The central theme of Saturday at the 48th National Beekeeping Conference will be dedicated to honey counterfeits and the greatest enemy of bees and beekeepers – the Varroa mite. Sunday’s expert topics will focus on good beekeeping practices.
