1. General provisions

The Organiser of the Grand Prize Game (hereinafter: Prize Game) is Celjski sejem, d.d., Dečkova cesta 1, 3000 Celje. The Prize Game shall take place during the MOS trade fair from 13 September 2023 until and including 17 September 2023 at 17 o’clock at the Celje Showground. The purpose of the Prize Game is to give away five prizes and several practical prizes, as well as acquiring contacts for the purpose of marketing communication.

2. Conditions for participation in the Prize Game

All natural persons, both residents and non-residents of Slovenia, can participate in the Prize Game. The Participants of the Prize Game agree to these Terms and Conditions and are obligated to follow them. The Terms and Conditions are published on www.ce-sejem.si. Each individual can participate in the Prize Game only once. Persons employed by the Organiser and its subsidiaries may not participate in the Prize Game. The same applies to their immediate family members (parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters and children).

3. Manner of participation and rules

The Participant can participate in the Prize Game in a number of ways: he or she can apply with one of the hostesses, who will enter his or her data using a tablet, via QR codes on the posters that will be hung all around the Showground, at the Fair Office in the atrium of the Showground, and at the Info Point in Exhibition Hall L. Each Participant may participate in the Prize Game only once. 

All the Participants that meet the conditions for participation in the Prize Game will be included in the prize draw. The Participants agree with participating in the Prize Game under the conditions laid down in these Terms and Conditions.  

The two-member committee, consisting of the Organiser’s representatives, shall keep a record of the prize draw, which shall include all the key information about the prize draw. The prize draw shall be final and complaints shall not be accepted. The Organiser reserves the right to permanently exclude the Participants that do not meet the Terms and Conditions of participation from the Prize Game.

At the request of the Organiser, the prize winner shall submit the following data:

• Name and surname, street, house number, post code, post, date of birth,
• Telephone number,
• Tax ID and tax office.

The Organiser reserves the right not to give out a prize if:

• the prize winner does not respond to the notification on being drawn on time,
• there is doubt about the legitimacy of the Participant’s data,
• it is established that the Participant’s participation in the Prize Game was not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions,
• the Participant does not submit his or her Tax ID before collecting the prize.

4. Prizes and collection of prizes

The Organiser will give out five prizes.

The practical prize draw will take place on Sunday, 17 September 2023 at 16.00 in the atrium of the Celje Showground. The winners will be informed either by e-mail or by mail and must respond by at least 30 September 2023; otherwise the Organiser will consider the winner to be expressly waiving the prize. In this case, the Organiser is free from any and all obligations towards these winners. It is at the Organiser’s discretion to decide whether to award such a prize to someone else or not. The Organiser has the right to request that the winner prove his or her identity with a valid personal document before accepting the prize. The prize can be collected directly after the draw, if the winner is present at the Showground. Otherwise, the Organiser will hand over the prize to the winner at the headquarters of the Organiser of the prize draw. Prizes cannot be paid out in cash, a prize cannot be transferred to a third party, nor can a prize be exchanged.

The winner is allowed to refuse to accept the prize. If the winner does not accept the prize, it is considered that he or she does not want to accept the prize and thus the Organiser is free from any and all obligations in relation to the winner according to the rules of this Prize Game. At the same time, the Organiser acquires the right to dispose of the prize for any other purpose. Prizes cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

5. Personal income tax prepayment

If the value of the prize exceeds €42.00, the Organiser will deduct income tax in advance from the value of the prize, in accordance with the applicable regulations. In accordance with the Tax Procedure Act, the recipient of the prize is obligated to submit his or her tax number before accepting the prize. If the information about the tax number is not delivered, the prize shall not be awarded. The prize shall be taxed in accordance with the Personal Income Tax Act (the Organiser of the game will calculate and pay the advance payment of personal income tax in accordance with the regulations). Any additional personal income tax payments in accordance with the annual personal income tax decision shall be borne by the winner. The value of the prizes does not represent the achieved income (tax base) in accordance with Article 108 of the Income Tax Act.

7. Personal data protection

By participating in the Prize Game, the Participants of the Prize Game give the Organiser permission to publish photo and video materials on the Organiser’s website and its social media. The winner’s data will be permanently deleted within 90 days after the end of the prize draw.

By participating in the Prize Game, the Participants of the Prize Game give the Organiser permission to collect, process and store the provided personal data for the purpose of carrying out the Prize Game. Moreover, the Participants allow the Organiser to use the e-mail addresses that they have indicated on the coupon for the Prize Game, for informing about the services and events of the Organiser of the Prize Game until cancellation or opting out. These data are: first name, last name, e-mail address. The Organiser undertakes to manage and protect the submitted data in accordance with the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data and the applicable Personal Data Protection Act. The Participant has all the rights in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot, Official Gazette of RS, no. 20/98 to 86/2009) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The data shall not be forwarded to an unauthorized third party or misused in any other way. At any time during the duration of the Prize Game, Participants in the Prize Game can request to view, copy, correct, block or delete their personal data, which they have provided in the context of this Prize Game. The request shall be forwarded to [email protected].

If a request is made to block or delete data before the end of the Prize Game, the Participants shall no longer be included in the Prize Game. Any questions relating to personal data protection and the Prize Game can be sent to the Organiser at: [email protected]. These rules shall apply from the date when they were adopted, i.e. from 6 September 2023, and shall be available for inspection by Participants on the Organiser’s website www.ce-sejem.si during the Prize Game.

8. Final provisions

The Organiser reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions and undertakes to inform the users in an appropriate manner and an appropriate place about any such change of the Terms and Conditions. Participants can send complaints and claims regarding the Prize Game to [email protected]. In the event of disputes arising in connection with the Prize Game, the competent court in Celje shall have jurisdiction.
